Effectiveness of “Planet Friendly Schools and Communities” Project
The final day of the Erasmus Plus project “Planet Friendly Schools & Communities“, of which CLAR ETS is the exclusive representative for our country, took place in Italy, with the presence of over 20 participants from all partner countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia. Planet Friendly Schools Goes on Successfully
The Erasmus Plus Planet Friendly Schools project, of which CLAR is the sole Italian partner, is successfully continuing on its path, which not even the pandemic was able to stop. The first year, coinciding precisely with the pandemic, was mainly devoted to the construction and structuring of its own multilingual platform, which collects and presents 81 of the best sustainability education practices implemented by and for European schools. WATERSCHOOL initiative could improve children’s health as well as reduce plastic pollution
(Ljubljana, March 23, 2020) The Erasmus+ project WATERSCHOOL promotes drinking of tap water at school through a European Initiative. Drinking tap water regularly at school could improve children’s health, increases concentration, and thus improves performance, and helps reduce plastic waste. Current results of Erasmus Plus VIVET
Our readers have often heard about the Erasmus Plus VIVET project, of which Clar is the only Italian partner. On August 31st the project officially ends, with really significant results. Taking into account the necessary construction phase of the e-learning platform, content creation, educational organization, classroom and online tests, dissemination activities, translations – here is a brief summary of the operational results. The issue of work and employment remains crucial for the future of our country and the skills required by the labor market are increasingly complex and specific, also creating problems of mismatching between demand and supply. The employment situation is even more critical in the groups with low school attendance: if, in fact, in the 28 countries of the European Union, the average percentage of people employed among those with primary education is 53.5%, in Italy it is only 47.8%. The Erasmus Plus Waterschool project contributes, starting from the level of the school, to a more correct use of a strategic resource, water, and its proper use. A new Erasmus Plus project KA02 (innovation and good practices) has been approved by Austrian NA: “WATERSCHOOL – strengthening open digital education and innovative practice through relevant, innovative teaching tools about water consumption in schools.“ The project acronym is WATERSCHOOL and its partnership includes our association Centro Libero Analisi e Ricerca – CLAR, responsible for project activities in Italy. Sustainable Cooks in Kindergartens’ Guidelines
CLAR, as part of the Erasmus Plus project “Sustainable Cooks in Kindergartens – Open educational resources for pedagogues, caterers and kitchen staff” has implemented the Italian version of the guidelines for operators.
